Fine Art Prints and Framing Ideas...

Was in Stockholm over the weekend to meet up with relatives, mingle with friends and check out some exibitions. There were two exibitions that I really looked forward to see, and I did not get disappointed. The first was the Pre-Raphaelite exibition at the National Museum, and it was really something. The works from artists as Dante Gabriel Rossetti, John Everett Millais, William Holman Hunt, Edward Burne-Jones och William Morris etc. really flored me, and it was really worth the wait. The Pre-Raphaelite models on the paintings / drawings (Jane Morris, Elizabeth Siddel, Alexa Wilding etc.), are just stunning.

The second was the Carl Larsson exibition at Prince Eugens old home Waldemarsudde. Every Swede has grown up with the work from CL, but it was stunning to see them all in real life (some of the paintings have not been on exibition for over 50 years).

All in all it was an amazing weekend, with works from artists that I always have loved.

This is a post to get started on this new blog, and to get an idea on how this WordPress blog works, fine tune the layout etc.

I will add more content ASAP, and hope this will be a nice resource for everyone interested in fine art prints, framing of art prints, and everything related to the subject.
